the space formerly known as toppers has become the prettiest place in the 90403. situated atop the huntley hotel, guests are treated to panoramic views of the pacific and beyond--on a clear day you can see as far south as lax and as far east as downtown l.a. yes, it's hard to keep your eyes off of what's outside, but the clean, mostly white interior is a close runner-up. a smooth glass countertop anchors the central wraparound bar; an indoor mother-of-pearl fireplace accents chocolate leather wingback chairs and a fiery-colored shag rug; silver-gilded branch sculptures hold flickering votives and plush seafoam-hued velvet seats make sure visits are comfortable. the popular among divinity.

the black maria is a large gallery in west los angeles, which has quite a lot of different works, ranging from alex pardee and camille rose, to more graffitti artists and even houses a andy warhol painting or two. at any rate, this place is very nice, and super elite. it's the home of the porcelain of course, so you expected anything different?

in all of california, this has probably the most iconic boardwalk ever. yes, the santa monica boardwalk. which is more like a carnival. it's had many pictures taken, and still stands. it's the major hangout for the guillotines due to the drug trade and such. plus, it's just fun.. most of the guillotines hang out here at night though. which makes people believe they are like the lost boys. hahaha. but no seriously, if you come here and your affiliated with the curbstomp alliance, you'll be shot dead on the spot. that's ganglife though.

electroshock is known for partying at this club. it's looks like two story warehouse, but when you get inside, prepare yourself for the biggest rave, and party scene this side of the mississippi. it's also the premier drug joint for people who like the finer things in life. don't get it twisted though. in the basement there is a fightclub esque thing-- strictly for members of blood diamonds. although it's not where their arsenal is.

ah yes, mark's showplace is the haunt of hollowhearts. they pray for love in lapdances. it's high class at it's prime. the women are always top of the line, and them men are always bringing fat wallets. there is obviously a bar, it's a great place to relieve 'stress', as well as your wallets.

the millyards are the dingy places of town. often graffitti ridden, rundown. they've been turned into apartments. a lot of the 'artists' stay here. and by artists, we mean cherrybombs. they often hold raves here too. everyone comes here, even some of the curbstomp kids. hey, it's too dark to tell who is who, anyways.
