Growing up, Violet was mainly cared for by her full time housekeeper. Janie, as she was called, not only looked after her family's house, but Violet's well-being as well. There weren't many times when Violet got to spend time with her parents, her father was always busy with a case and her mother seemed more absorbed in the health of other kids rather than her own daughter's. Eventually, Violet just gave up and decided to try an forget about her parents. She focused on her passion, art. All of her emotions went into the perfection of her art, many of it showcased throughout the school. She was the president of the art club from freshmen to junior year before she declined the position her last year of high school. Violet loved Cali, but her bad relationship with her parents made her want to move away, and so for college she decided to move L.A. She was far enough away from her parents, but still in the state she loved.[/font][/size][/blockquote]
Violet's high school career was a quiet one. She wasn't popular and mainly hung out with what some of the jocks called "art geeks" or "outcasts" which they were. But none of them had any problem passing classes with a C+ or higher, Violet herself found her tutoring some jocks, only to never be recognized. Over her high school years, she began to dislike the jocks and some of the cheerleaders more and more. But because they seemed to be in two different worlds, Violet usually never payed any mind to them. Violet's life took a nasty turn when she was seventeen. Her grandmother, Nenny, was in the hospital because she had cancer. It was on July 18 that Nenny died in the hospital bed with Violet holding her hand. Violet barely graduated high school after that, but somehow managed to make it to college.
