a heart that beats and beats just to break.
a beautiful southern california wind blew on dawnie as she walked from downtown LA to her home in pasadena. her boots hit the cement and made a soft sound, a sound that dawnie was now quite familiar to. her ipod earphones were plugged into her ear, and anthony greens beautiful voice was floating through. she hummed along, and pulled out her keys as she arrived to the small house that belonged to her and her alone. the door opened and she smiled at the darkness. after closing the heavy oak door and locking it, she turned and pressed a few buttons, taking the alarm off the house, or atleast.. letting it know she was there. you could never be to safe, especially in los angeles. the city of angels.. not.
she pulled out her white apple laptop, the one with snow white on the front. she logged onto aim and took it with her into the living room, where she was planning on watching the goofy movie. only to her luck, it wasn't there. she must have let shelby borrow it or something. or it was hiding. so, instead she flicked on the tv and watched whatever was on as she chatted on aim. this was everyday life for the small girl. sitting at home, being a social reject.
she felt her heart leap into her throat as trevor signed online, and started talking to her. oh trevor. she felt like such a stupid idiot around him. she had the biggest school girl crush on him, and he was her best friends brother. she was barely nineteen, and the boy was somewhere around twenty three. so the chance of him EVER liking her was about as ridiculous as dawn befriending maine manhattan. not likely. it was stupid. but a girl could dream, right? right. dawn invited him over, and he accepted, and she stood up and looked around her room in a frenzy. it wasn't clean, fuck fuck fuck, her house wasn't clean. she ran around and started tidying things up, stuffing dishes into cupboards and throwing her clothes into her closet, even though she was pretty sure they wouldn't be near her bedroom. but you could never be too safe.
she rushed around, and pulled off her jacket, revealing her white vneck to write love on her arms shirt covering her thin torso. she kicked off her boots, leaving her in her skinny jeans and shirt. there was a knock at the door and dawn had to bite her lip to keep from screaming in excitement and or nerves. she couldn't tell the difference anymore. she opened the door and smiled brightly at the very tall boy in front of her. trevor! im so glad you could come. come in, please come in.
she sounded like an overzealous parent, or an eager first date-y. fuck. she was so nervous. music tag: the saints we portray , in:aviate outfit: ( click here ! )tagged: trevor <3 notes: i like-ah, to sing-ah, in the pale moonlight. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

he actually had no idea why he was on the computer instead of living his life like every other person in the world. it was a nice day, but it was always nice in los angeles. at least.. the weather. the civilians? hah, as if. as he got online, he smirked. dawnie was by far one of his favorites out of his skittish little sister's friends. one of the few that seemed to be as genuine as she was. not to mention, she was easy on the eyes.. ugh, he swore to whatever god was out there he wasn't going to be in a relationship with one of his kid sister's friends. ....but dawnie was legal... no! damnit, there were plenty of fish in the sea. but none so pretty as dawnie. ugh, now he felt like a lousy brother. why? because he had been with almost every one of shelby's older friends. why? he didn't even know. he believed it contributed to his little sister's social anxiety as well. which just made him feel like a monster.
after what seemed like hours on end. they finally finished talking, the end result was that he would be coming to the dawnie's house. biting his lower lip he walked down the hall of the apartment, grabbing the keys from the entry table he threw on his jacket. what? it was chilly out. nice, but chilly. heading down the stairs, he took a sigh. what was he doing? why was he doing this? dawnie was barely legal. barely. sighing as he opened the car door he got in, slipping the key in the ignition. it was new, so... it shouldn't have given him any issues yet. as he drove down the road those jade orbs of his looked blankly at the street as cars whizzed by. going to opposite direction. somewhere between the foria intersection, and florence boulevard he lost all notion of caring about what was right. who he was screwing over, and frankly. all of his senses. it wasn't like he was committing a felony, it wasn't like he was hurting her, and it certainly not like he was going to fuck her that night. why was he worried about things that didn't even happen yet? because it was him. worrying and trevor mason came hand in hand.
as he arrived at her house, he shut off the car, slipping the keys into his pocket and locking the door. he knocked gently. the cottage was really nice. really nice. how the hell was a single-- nineteen year old able to afford this without being in a gang? the thought left as quickly as it came when she opened the door, the twenty two year old couldn't help but give her the once over before a smirk played his face. she was a cute kid, he wasn't going to plan on fronting when it came to that. oh i plan on it kiddo, as he spoke, a soft chuckle emitted from his lips as he entered the abode. those eyes of his that were outlined in black glanced around. damn, it was nice. it was homey. it reminded him of when he and derek were on tour and winded up in mae's house. hah. good times.
attired in a plain white tee with a dog tag necklace and some random lock necklace that he had, a pair of fitted jeans and vans.. with of course, fingerless gloves.. a bandana, and a tilted new era hat. he didn't look like a guy you wanted to fuck with, but... his demeanor was nice, one could be bold as to say-- friendly. dawnie was in that circle of trust, he had. she wasn't at the inner circle yet, but... she was getting there. oh, so i don't get hugs now? psh, fine. whatever, he joked as a grin played his features, his arms wrapping around her tiny body giving her a gentle, but there hug. he wasn't the best hugger he'd admit. but, he could be a lot worse. aka: the one arm man hug. yeah. guys who did that were clearly uh... off, especially when that was done to girls. so how're you dawnie? ah yeah, see? he cared!

a heart that beats and beats just to break.
stop thinking like a fourteen year old girl dawnie thought. he's your best friends fucking brother. she breathed out heavily and shoved some hair out of her eyes and behind her ear. why was she so nervous? this was ridiculous. it wasn't like he was coming over her to fuck her or anything. as much as dawnie would like that, she wasnt like that. MAINE was like that, and if she were maine at the moment, she'd be lighting candles and taking off clothes like they were going out of style. but dawnie was not maine. if anything, she was the exact opposite of maine. it was impossible for dawn to show any kind of hatred , violence or anything beyond a simple dislike for someone. maine was the other way around. but we're done comparing now.
most people often wondered how the girl had so much money. it was very simple, actually. her father, an ex surgeon, had to leave his money somewhere. and unwillingly, of course, gave his whole life fortune to his only begotten. since he was in the sanitarium, of course. for life. he didn't need his money there. dawnie needed it. and she saved it, and worked hard at the small local music venue. so, she paid the bills, basically. and had money to shop and shit. but thats beside the point.
as she opened the door, she saw his eyes give her the once over and her mind almost exploded from thinking so much. she loved him, ... no. no she didn't love him. what the fuck. how did that even cross her mind? he was in a gang, he killed people. but he was so sweet.. and kind, and comforting and nice. ahh fuck. she was thinking too much again. this sucked. she laughed at his words and closed the door behind him, locking it out of pure habit. she smiled shyly at him, but shook off the shy part of her.
she grinned up at him as he asked about a hug, and felt her heart beat faster as he wrapped his arms around her. it was a shy hug, and she just couldn't have that. hugs were dawnies favorite. she wrapped her arms tightly around his neck and hugged him tightly, so tightly that her feet no longer touched the ground. it reminded her of her favorite spinny hugs. spinny hugs were the best, EVER. PERIOD. i thought you were too cooool for hugs.
she spoke, smiling brightly as she clung to the tall boy. she jumped down and smiled, looking around her home. she motioned for him to follow her into her living room, with her couch full of pillows and blankets, because the girl literally couldn't watch a movie without them. now, we have a hard decision to make. she grinned, while plopping onto the fluffy couch. goofy movie, or pokemon 2000?! notes: =D<3 [/blockquote][/blockquote]
