shelby is an interesting girl, very interesting. for one she's quiet. very, very quiet. quiet until you actually get to know her that is. people find her to be rather creepy because if you don't start conversation with her, she won't with you. she'll just write. never glancing up, never looking at the teacher. actually the teacher has many notebooks of her's. filled with poetry, songs, and other random things.. doodles, letters in wacky writing. histories of the world. shelby doesn't fit in with many girls her age, and doesn't get along with many people in her own age range. the older they are the more she will probably get along with. she doesn't like a lot of people. nor do they like her. it's a mutual disdain kinda thing, unfortunately.. shelby has been backstabbed so many times, but the thing is. she forgives and forgets. she loves too much, and she just really wants to be accepted without giving up any of her individuality, or her love of writing. she can't help it, it's one of the few ways she feels she can actually vent out her emotions in a healthy way. shelby has a lot of heart, unfortunately though.. her peers only see her as the freak in the back writing constantly.. the fact that she's straightedge doesn't get her too far in life, either.

to shelby's friends she's amazing, she's sweet, she's funny. someone you can easily get along with and have a good time with. she's stubborn and driven with a heart of gold. afraid of persecution, afraid of being picked out. she doesn't like malls either. or most crowded places-- hell she's never been to a show in her life. she doesn't dig overpopulated places. unless it's walmart, and she goes there just to feel better about herself. her friends know about her brother and... yeah, some other people know that too.. unfortunately, they try and use her to get with him, then drop her like a hot potato. cruel? yes, but the young girl lines hersef up to get hurt.. honestly her friends think she gives people too many chances and that she needs to harden up. the sixteen year old doesn't feel she can do that though. she's great when it comes to judging people's character, but horrible when it comes to saying no when they start talking to her. except... when it comes to doing drugs, smoking, drinking alcohol, or having casual sex. that's not, nor will ever be shelby's thing. she respects herself too much.

shelby has a lot of flaws.. from comparing herself to her peers, to her constant pessimism. it's quite odd. she's optimistic when it comes to others, yet pessimistic when it comes to herself. she wants to believe she could have a fairy tale ending, yet.. her pessimism tells her she should know better than that. when it comes to videotaping alternative sports-- during the playback she critiques herself so much so that half of the time she convinces herelf to go quit. but, because of her sheer love of videotaping, she perseveres through. love isn't really easy, nor a hard subject for her. she's never actually been in love, but.. she has liked lots of guys before. never has she really had a guy that she legitimately liked, like her back though. if he said he did it was usually some form of a cruel emotional prank. anyways, this is miss shelby. take it or leave it.

After Shelby was born, they had no idea she would be so... Different. Honestly they had thought of putting her in an adoption home, but after Derek and Trevor saw her.... They was so happy they had a little sister. They couldn't take the girl away from the overjoyed boys. They just.. Refused. Growing up she worked harder than her brothers, who were outside all day, that or playing music. They were quick to give her chores.. When they were done though, she'd watch them play their guitars. She'd just watch them, a soft smile on her face.. The girl always wished she had that kinda talent. Always.

As her brothers went to middle school, she always wondered why her mother and father were paying more attention to them.. And pretending as if she, the youngest of the trio, never existed. You see, life for her was not kind. She didn't have really any friends in elemetary school. Whilst other kid played in the sand box or ran around, she'd sit on the curb and watch them. It was like that until eighth grade in middle school. She was never the 'skinniest' of them all, and in fact.. A lot of her class mates made fun of her for it. She never actually understood why. There were lots of kids bigger than her that never got made fun of. It was weird.. To her to say the least. Technically she was ten pounds overweight, but.. She didn't see anything wrong with it. She still looked like everyone else.

It didn't matter though, when she was thirteen she got her first 'real' boyfriend. Who, like her, dressed alternatively.. Now, she was seeing less and less of her brothers due to her parents trying to make them stars. She was depressed, and it was ultimately the reason her boyfriend broke up with her.. Then decided to spread rumours that she was a prude lesbian. She found it weird at the fact she was depressed was the reason he hated her. Not for the fact he was well, I don't know.. Never getting kissed by her, or any of that. Yeah oh to be young and so immature. At anyrate. She saw the crash and burn of her brothers.. And her poor little mind almost broke. She saw them when she went to high school trying to fill the ever so large void that left his heart in pieces. They didn't play their guitars anymore. Not even when Shelby had pleaded.

Then they just went away, and... Her parents told her it was because she did something wrong-- Not them. The girl then lost control. She became even more introverted than she was... Hiding for days in her room, and not even thinking of coming out. Her parents didn't like what she turned into.. So, they were planning to ship her off like her brothers. The thing she did though-- Was run away. You see, her friend's band was going on tour that night..

So she grabbed a suitcase, filled it with things and decided to run away, her parents ended up finding out she was at Charlotte Academy, and pretty much just left her there. Hey, she was away from them, which was what she wanted. Now she works at a supermarket, and is living life the only way she knows how whilst trying to make it big through her video camera.. Well that was how she planned to let things end. Her parents found her two months later... Her brother's were back too. Well, Trevor, the youngest of the two, said he was moving out to Los Angeles. Well, both brothers were now famous-- And cutting off ties with their families.. So, instead of Seattle, she chose Los Angeles. Feeling the safest she had felt in a while.

When her brother joined a gang, the gang immeadietly took her in as well. Now she goes to school, and is doing her best to adapt to the world that is Los Angeles.
