only listen to indie: yeah. basically there'd be no in-character, face-to-face interaction. the site would be about characters communicating indirectly.
only listen to indie: like through AIM, email, texts, notes in class, letters, etc.

it's simple, really. all your characters do here is communicate secondhand.
they can write notes and letters, they can e-mail, instant message, or text;
maybe, somewhere, in an alternative dimension or some other site, they hang out.
but not here. sometimes being impersonal is even better than being personal.
